World View of Wizard of Oz
This story mostly portrays a postmodern worldview. for example, dorothy and her friends that she meets along the way, go on a long journey to seek out this wizard (or god). At the end of the movie they finally reach him and are dissappointed because he turns out to be just a man. this is the same as postmodernism in the sense that they think that god does not exist and that the idea of a god is gone. another big part of postmodernism is that throughout the entire movie she is dreaming and its all an illusion until the end when she returns home. i dont really get the point of the story because really its like nothing ever happened. it was all a dream. thats really dumb.
